Asia-Pacific Masters Games 2023
Introduction

The Asia-Pacific Masters Games 2023, comparable to the Olympics, is an international multi-sport event organized by the International Masters Games Association. The tenpin bowling competition will be held in Jeonbuk, Korea from May 13 to 17, 2023.

The tournament is sanctioned by the International Bowling Federation (IBF), Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) and Korea Bowling Association (KBA). The tournament will be conducted under IBF Rules and Regulation of September 2019.

The first Asia-Pacific Masters Games was held in Penang, Malaysia in 2018. The APMG is held every four years and approved by the International Masters Games Association.

About IMGA
IMGA is operated by the executive directors of at least 9 to a maximum of 13 members, and members representing from the International Federation of 23 sports. And the current acting president of IMGA is Sergey Bubka.

In addition to the World Masters Games, the IMGA organises several other international multi-sport events for Masters athletes, including the Winter World Masters Games, European Masters Games, Pan-American Masters Games and Asia-Pacific Masters Games.

The flagship event of the IMGA, the World Masters Games, is officially the world's largest international participatory multi-sport event. It takes place every four years, attracting tens of thousands of athletes to new locations.
