Oman Bowling Committee(OBC) and Muscat Municipality are pleased to announce that the inaugural Muscat International Bowling Championships 2025 will be held at the Al Seeb Bowling Center in Mucat, Oman, from January 15 to 20, 2025. This competition is sanctioned by International Bowling Federation (IBF) and Asian Bowling Federation (ABF).

Muscat is the capital of Oman and a city with a rich history and diverse landscape. Muscat is located on the Gulf of Oman coast, surrounded by volcanic mountains and the rocky Western Al Hajar Mountains.

Muscat has been a strategic trade center since the 2nd century AD, and was a vital stopping point for merchants on the Silk Roads. The Portuguese gained control of Muscat in 1508 and maintained a trading post and naval base there until 165. Muscat's architecture is influenced by Arab, Portuguese, Persian, Indian, African, and modern Western styles.
