"We are fully aware and completely understood the reservation of certain federations on coming to Hong Kong although the SARS situation in Hong Kong is well under controlled and that the WHO Travelling Advisory on Hong Kong has been lifted," said Mrs Vivien Fung in her letter addressed to all Asian federations.
The age eligibility will remain the same as for year 2003 even though the event is now being held in 2004 i.e. bowlers born on or after January 1, 1981 will be eligible to participate in the championships.
"We will be sending out the official invitations again with Bulletin 1 at the end of this month," added Mrs Fung. |
