This tournament is sanctioned by WTBA and ABF and will be conducted under PBC and FIQ/WTBA Rules and Regulations. It will also serve as an Asian Ranking tournament towards the World Ranking Masters finals, the Fifth Leg of the ABF Tour 2005 which will take place on the 18th and 19th of June, 2005. Moreover, this open will also provide an arena to prepare our Asian bowlers for the tough competition ahead in the South East Asian Games in Manila scheduled on November 27 to December 5, 2005.
We have increased the already impressive prizes to Php 150,000 in the Open Masters Division and Php 90, 000 both in the Graded and Associate Divisions. A winning package of over 1.5 million pesos is at stake, making it one of the most moneyed events in Philippine bowling history.
We have reserved the last four qualifying days of the tournament exclusively for overseas bowlers. At the moment, each bowler shall be allowed to book one attempt on the 8:00 pm squad. Additional attempts shall be subject to availability. Local bowlers shall be allowed to play only if there are vacancies.
You can download the Rules & Regulations, Prizes and Fees, Entry Form and Hotel Reservation. . The Manila Hotel will be the official hotel and venue of the victory banquet and awarding ceremonies. Regularly scheduled shuttles between the official hotel and bowling center shall be provided.
