The champion edged Bader Al Shaikh, 187-179 in the all-Saudi first semi-final match while Khaled had a narrow victory over Michael Mak of Hong Kong in the high-scoring second semi, 230-218 to advance to the final.

Khaled started off better with a strike in the first frame and a spare in the second as Abdullah sprared both his first two frames. Things went all wrong for the Kuwaiti when he was halted with a split in the third frame and a single-pin miss in the fourth.

The Saudi made no mistake in his third and fourth frames and then rolled five consecutive strikes. Khaled struck in the fifth but stumbled to another split in the sixth frame and falling way behind Abdullah.

Abdullah didn't need to spare his final frame to take his first-ever ABF Tour title and became the second Saudi to do so. Khalid Al Hamdan was the first to win the Saudi leg back in 2011.

The champion breezed past ABF Tour Dubai 2014 leg champion, Yousif Falah of Bahrain, 221-173 in the earlier Round 2 to reach the semi-finals. Abdullah also ousted compatriot, Salman Al Shehri, 222-192 in his opening round.

Khaled edged Yasser Abu Al reesh of Saudi Arabia, 176-142 in Round 2 and Mohammed Sultan of Bahrain, 207-165 in Round 1. HRH Prince Abdulhakim Al Saud, President of Saudi Bowling Federation was on hand to present the trophy to the champion.

The Saudi leg concluded this year's ABF Tour. Four players confirmed their spots in the ABF Tour Tournament of Champions from this leg. Michael Mak moved up from 14th to fourth, Khaled from 18th to eighth.

ABF Tour Thailand leg champion, Shaik Abdul Hameed of India also secured his place in 14th position while a second Kuwaiti, Rakan Al Amiri finished 15th.
