In the boy's division, Hong Kong Team A had a dream start with 888 to lead Singapore Team A by 36 pins. Singapore's Darius See, Izz Irfan Ismail, Lucas Goh and Kaelan Lim rolled a stunning 926 to take over the lead after the second game.
Ethan Leung, Izac Mong, Jovi Ma and Singles silver medalist, Dylan Lam managed 839 to slip 15 pins behind the new leader. Hong Kong Team B of Ocean Yeung, Julian Ho, Jeremy Lau and Jaden Tsui shot 808 and 886 to take up third.
Singapore A ended the first block with another massive game of 908 to lead with 2686 total. Doubles gold medalist, Talal Ali Al Marri, Abdulla Al Dosary, Masaed Al Muraikhi and Abdulrahman Al Doseri stormed home to snatch second position with 2510.
Singapore Team B's Gareth Goh, Gautier Tan, Zavier Ng and Thaddaeus Mok also finished strongly to clinch third position with 2497. Malaysia ended well to finish fourth with 2490 while early pace-setters, Hong Kong A and Hong Kong B slipped down to fifth and sixth positions.
