Earlier in the morning, Malaysians Adania Mohd Redzwan and 2025 Asian Junior Doubles and Team gold medalist, Adelia Nur Irwan Syazalee started well to occupy first and second spots with Korea's Paek Ye Dam in third.
Singapore's Shirlene Wong Xue Lin quickly took over the running after she added 279 to her 203 opener. 2025 Asian Junior five gold medalist, Qurrau Ain Izdihar of Malaysia moved into second spot, 12 pins adrift as the other two Malaysian dropped their pace.
Paek took over the lead briefly after the third game but her lead was soon taken over by Japan's Ako Takahashi after the fourth game. Hazel Tan, who had a poor start with 178, gradually made up grounds with 237, 236 and 237 to take up second spot.
The 18-year-old debutant ended with 224 and 216 to win Singapore's first gold medal of the championships with 1328. Paek settled for the silver with 1297 while Qurratu Ain Izdihar earned the bronze medal with 1293. Shirlene Wong missed the podium for finishing fourth, just three pins away.
