In the girl's division, top-seed Sharifa Askander of Kuwait defeated third-seed, Nura Salsabila Zulkifli of Singapore, 372-362 for a first-ever gold medal won by a Kuwaiti female bowler. Sharifa edged her challenger, 191-189 in the first game and 181-173 in the second game.
Nura Salsabila out-classed second-seed, Li Yi-Rou of Chinese Taipei, 221-156 to earn a crack at the finals against the Kuwaiti. In the earlier second block Masters finals, Sharifa, who was second to Li before the position-round match, defeated the Taiwanese, 242-203 to snatch top-seed with 3233.
Li settled for second with 3231, just two pins adrift while the Singaporean finished third with 3195 to join the duo in the stepladder finals.
Singapore emerged as the Overall Girls Champion with a medal haul of 2-2-2. Malaysia took second spot with 2-1-0 and Kuwait tallied 1-1-0. Hong Kong A team emerged as the Overall Boys Champion with a medal haul of 2-2-1. Qatar A finished second with 1-1-0 and Vietnam third with 1-0-1. Singapore came away as Overall Champion with a medal haul of 3-2-2.
